Hi, I’m Zahnette. I'm a junior at the University of Florida with a passion for designing thoughtful, human-centered digital experiences.

I've always loved creating. Whether it’s drawing, painting, sewing, or experimenting with new creative projects, I’m happiest when I’m making something with intention.

That creative foundation shapes how I approach UX/UI. I care about details, accessibility, and designing experiences that feel intuitive and engaging. I’m especially interested in how visual storytelling and interaction design can make technology feel more human.

When I’m not designing, you’ll probably find me working on a craft project or reading something new.

About me

I’ll try any creative medium at least once.

Sewing teaches me patience and precision.

I’m always reading something, either fiction or non-fiction.

Fun beyond the screen

Favorite book:

Parable of the sower by Octavia E. Butler

Favorite song:

Lady Lady - Olivia Dean

Favorite artwork:

Golden Leaves - Thomas Blackshear II

Accessibility matters.

Good design should feel effortless.

Details build trust.

Creativity and structure can coexist.

I’m naturally curious and observant. I like understanding how people think and why they make certain choices. That curiosity is what drew me to UX/UI — I enjoy designing experiences that feel intuitive, accessible, and meaningful.
